Research indicates EXERCISE has a significant benefit in cancer recovery.

Your generosity gets us steps closer to make a difference to those coping with cancer.
We do not do 'door to door soliciting'
We're Building to Make a Difference in the Lives of People with Cancer!
We believe in the expansion of WELLSPRING Halton-Peel's Ground Breaking Cancer Exercise Program because research indicates that exercise has significant benefits for people coping with cancer.
We hope to inspire everyone... to make exercise part of their daily life as well as challenge them to help make a difference in the lives of others.
Together, we shall persevere to raise $200,000 to construct and equip WELLSPRING Halton-Peel's New Cancer Exercise Facility through a series of team and individual fundraising challenges, which include:
- Great Canadian Mountain Traverse: An 8 day 1002 K (621 miles) cycle from Lake Louise, Alberta to Whistler, British Columbia during which riders will climb approximately 11,000 m (36,000 ft); the equivalent of cycling up Everest!
- IRONMAN Mont-Tremblant, Lake Placid and Wisconsin: The Ultimate Triathalon Challenge: 3.8 K Swim, 180 K Bike and 42 K Run!
- Other Team / Individual Challenges: Team Ride at Rideau Lakes Cycling Tour and Centurion Cycling The Blue Mountains in 2012 as well as individuals racing at local trail, road races and swimming events!
Check out our fundraising sites for information on our personal fundraising challenges and events for 2012!

In Memoriam
It is with great sorrow that the IRONDames mark the passing of our inspirational founder Kim, a remarkable woman, who lived an epic four-year journey while battling cancer.
Her calling as a renowned Children's Speech-Language Pathologist, clinical supervisor with Blue Balloon Health Care, owner and founder of Express Yourself & Music Express saw her improve the lives of thousands of children and families of children with a wide variety of developmental needs including autism.
When asked to summarize her IRONDames Journey Kim wrote:
"It wasn't very long before I realized that the IRONDames was not simply about training for Ironman and helping me, but Believing - Believing in Wellspring, Believing in themselves, Believing that anything is possible when you Persevere! These ladies have brought more Laughter, more Joy, more Strength into my life than I could ever imagine. They have helped me deliver Hope to people experiencing cancer, by raising over $150,000 for WELLSPRING's Cancer Exercise Program. They have helped Inspire hundreds of people along the way."
Kim, you have forever changed our lives with lasting experiences, memories and friendships.
Thank you.
